Many years ago when I was a child walking from school I saw a similar vase and my mom being into the mid century decor had a few but not quite as lovely as this i thought! so i saved and saved every penny I could coveting every coin stashing away and going without as I thought at the time, my well deserved after school treat money. How beautiful this would look in my Mothers new mid century living room she had just bought a gold sectional and new tables and lamps .The day came when I finally had enough to purchase it and I did and it was beautiful and mom well mom loved it as I knew she would. She knew it was a hard thing for child my age to make as i thought a grand purchase such as this and every time I see a Mid Century Italian piece of blue glass I think about walking home from school and dreaming of giving this to mom .
